The Govind Urban Credit Co-operative Society Limited, a leading Urban Co-operative Society in India was founded by Wanjari group and other Co-operators during the beginning of the Co-operative movement in our country, with prime object of encouraging thrift and savings habit among the public and to freed the members from the clutches of private money lenders. New Govind Urban Credit Co-operative Society Limited with it’s headquarter in Nagpur. The Society is focused on upgrading and improving the services by optimizing the use of the latest technology as well as continuous training of its Management and staff.

The Society began with 11 members, mobilized Small amount of capital from them and Today the total business of the Society has crossed Rs. 100.00 crore plus and now it is placed as Top Urban Co-operative Society of the State of Maharashtra.

The Society is functioning on the sound principles of co-operation and successfully completed more than 12 years of banking service. The Society is continuously making profit since from the date of its inception and disbursing dividend to its members and also in ‘A’ Grade Audit classification. Visionary and transparent directors on the board and dedicated professional staffs are responsible for this achievement.
